Our visit at SCaLE 23x in Pasadena
At the beginning of March, it was time for NetKnights to head to California once again. Thus, Cornelius and Isabelle attended this year’s Southern California Linux Expo (SCaLE 23x) in Pasadena on behalf of NetKnights. The event gave them the opportunity to present NetKnights and our open-source software privacyIDEA to an international audience and to exchange ideas with the community on current developments in IT security and multi-factor authentication.
Once again, SCaLE provided an interesting setting for many valuable conversations. Visitors showed strong interest in the flexibility of privacyIDEA and in the open-source approach behind our solution. In particular, the fact that privacyIDEA can be operated on prem and under the organization’s own control attracted a great deal of attention. At a time when security, data protection, and digital sovereignty are becoming increasingly important, it was clear that transparent and independent authentication solutions are more relevant than ever.
For Cornelius and Isabelle, the visit to Pasadena was a valuable opportunity to strengthen existing relationships, gain new ideas, and learn more about current trends within the IT community. The direct exchange with visitors, developers, and IT professionals once again highlighted the strong demand for practical, open, and secure authentication solutions.
We look back on three intensive and inspiring days at SCaLE 23x and would like to thank everyone who took the time to speak with us. The event was once again a rewarding experience for NetKnights, and we are already looking forward to meeting at SCaLE next year.
